Are you an experienced Heavy Mobile Equipment or Industrial Mechanic who knows your way around industrial equipment?

Do you enjoy diagnosing problems, turning wrenches, and keeping heavy equipment running safely and efficiently?

GEOMET Recycling wants you on our team!

We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Mobile & Industrial Mechanic with 4–5+ years of hands-on heavy diesel and industrial equipment experience to join our team in Garland, Texas.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll play an important role in keeping our operation moving by:

Diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel-powered equipment.
Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Performing preventive maintenance and inspections.
Responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
Repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.
Performing welding and fabrication as needed.
Helping us maintain a safe and reliable operation.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who brings experience, technical knowledge, good judgment, and a strong commitment to safety.

Minimum qualifications include:

4–5+ years of hands-on heavy diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience.
Experience working with industrial or heavy mobile equipment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the job.
Commitment to safe work practices.

Automotive-only experience does not meet the primary experience requirement for this position.
